Race: University of Maryland Spring Criterium
Course: 1.1 mile loop, with a series orf 90 degress corners and one steep up hill and a fast downhill (possibly 35+ mph)
Weather: 49 degress and raining (A true Spring Classic)

Race: Navy Classic Criterium Hosted By the Naval Acedemy Cycling Team
Course: .7 mile loop with a long straightaway along the Severn River, a small climb anbd two tight right corners (90 & 135 degrees)
Weather: Sunny and 65 degrees

Results:

A- (50 laps, 35 mi) 10th - Pete Fahringer

15th - Scott Zwizanski

B- (35 laps, 24.5 mi) 8th - Matt Peterson

9th - Chad Cherefko

11th - Derek Clark

C- (30 laps, 21 mi) 9th - Dave Steiker

Women- (30 laps, 21 mi) 11th - Courtney Churchs

Race: North Carolina State Univ.
Course: 1/2 mile course on the NCSU Centennial Campus
Weather: 65-70 degrees and sunny

B- (40 laps) 1st - Scott Zwizanski

5th - Lief Hands

C- (24 laps) 12th - Dave Steiker

WVU team rider Lief Hands traveled to the Cheasapeake Road Race winning the 40 mile race in a sprint to the finish. The teams from our conference that were represented were Navy and Johns Hopkins.
