This race is a mountain bike marathon where the course length is determined by your own route choices. Check in at six different checkpoints indicated on the Slatyfork Trail Guide each racer will receive at the beginning of the race.
You can decide for yourself which trail, dirt road or (minimal amount) of paved road is the best route to the next checkpoint. The 100K race (approximate distance) will begin and finish at ERTC.
No outside help to racers is allowed.
Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting
Begins at 6:45 am at the Elk River Lodge. Riders should attend ready to ride!

Fee $110 by July 31, 2010 -- $140 after July 31, 2010
Registration fee includes camping Friday and Saturday nights, a waterproof and tear-proof Slatyfork Trail Guide with checkpoints marked, a Wild 100 commemorative pint glass, water and food at designated checkpoints, and the Wild 100 Survivor's BBQ Party after the race!
Classes
Prizes will be awarded to at least top three finishers in each class.

- 2-person Male, 2-person Female, 2-person Co-ed
- First Timer, Over 50, Single Speed
- WILD 100 PLUS (extra checkpoint)

ERTC is located 5 miles south of WV 66 (Snowshoe Mountain Resort turnoff) and 16 miles north of Marlinton, WV on US 219. Look for the light colored "Elk River Inn & Restaurant" sign and turn immediately onto a bridge over the Elk River headwaters.
