3rd Annual Chief Logan 5K Run & 2 Mile Competitive Walk
Sponsored by Logan Regional Medical Center.
This event is held annually on Logan County Fair Weekend and celebrates the spirit of our region. The fast, rabbit ear course starts with a gradual uphill grade and ends with a long downhill finish.

- First ($200) and Second ($100) overall male/female of the 5K Run
- First Masters (40 & over) male/female 5K run finishers ($75)
- First and Second place walkers, finishers ($50.00)
- Trophies to run and walk age-group winners (no duplication of awards)

- $15.00 for 5K Run if postmarked by July 30, 2010
- $20.00 for 5K Run after July 30 and on race day
- $10.00 for 2-Mile Walk if postmarked by July 30, 2010
- $15.00 for 2-Mile Walk after July 30 and on race day
- Race Day Registration begins at 7:30 am
Start . Finish . Parking
The start and finish for both events will be at the Liz Spurlock Amphitheater in Chief Logan State Park. Parking is available in the grassy field beside the old log cabin opposite the amphitheater and also beside the Museum in the Park.
Showers are available at the park pool or at the camp ground. After the competition, participants may enjoy free admission to the Logan County Fair or simply relax on the grassy lawn while listening to live musical entertainment.

Directions
Chief Logan State Park is located in the southwestern part of West Virginia. From the North follow U.S. 119 south. Continue on U.S. 119 two miles past Chapmanville. Turn east onto Rt. 119/90 (Old Logan Road) and proceed six miles to the park entrance. From the southeast follow Rt. 10 North to the park entrance. The park is northwest of Logan.
