Registration:
- $10 if entry received by Oct. 3rd, $15 race day
- Begins on race morning at 7:30.
- This is a no frills, just fun run/race and fundraiser, so in an effort to keep costs down for everyone, we have no t-shirts or age-group awards. All participants will be entered to win one of many door prizes and everyone is welcome to enjoy post-race refreshments and grub including pizza, home baked goodies, and more!
Location:
(The Rock) Sports Complex, Little Creek Park, South Charleston WV
Course:
This race features 2.5 miles of sweet, rolling single track trail at Little Creek Park. The race will begin near The Rock and run approximately 0.5 miles on the road before turning onto Rocky Ridge Trail where the fun really begins. The course is definitely beginner and hiker/walker friendly, however, don't expect to set a 5k PR here! There will be one aid station at the 1.5 mile mark.
Awards:
Awards will be given to the top 3 Overall male and female.
Age Groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
Proceeds:
All proceeds from this event will go toward my effort to raise more than $5,000 to support the Alzheimer's Association as part of Team Run 2 Remember at the 2012 New York City Marathon.
