5K Run/Walk & 1/4 mile Dog Dash

- Race Day Registration 8-8:45 a.m at WVWC, Camden Avenue (at the fountain)
- 5K starts at 9 a.m
- 10:15am- Dog Dash Start (see Dog Dash rules)
- 10:30am -Awards
- $20 for Mailed forms must RECEIVED by August 14, 2014
- $25 on race day.
- $10 per dog for 1/4 Mile Dog Dash
- Free T-Shirt to all pre-regiatered
- Proceeds support Pet Door Rescue.
Location:
West Virginia Wesleyan College Fountain, Camden Avenue, Buckhannon, WV
Awards:
Overall winner male and female
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for men and women in each age group.
1st place award for fastest dog in Dog Dash.
Age Groups:
14&under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60&over
Race Course:
Course starts at WVWC fountain on Camden Ave. and winds through residential streets and then to the river trail, finishing back at the fountain.
Dog Dash Rules:
- Pets must be on leash (no longer than 6 ft.)
- Owners are responsible for pet cleanup
- No charge for dogs running 5K with owner BUT please be courteous of other runners
