Beefalo 5K
Ed Liberatore cruising to the win
Labor Day weekend is a time when many relax, abstaining from any form of physical activity. But in Cameron, the weekend is celebrated with the Beefalo 5K Run, and with beautiful conditions on a lazy summer's evening, over 30 athletes took to the streets and country roads for a little run.

The course started in Cameron, and took runners out of the city on rolling paved roads with a 3.1 mile course that finished back at the start. The sun hung low in the sky as temperatures hovered around the upper 80's. 5K runners and walkers went along the same course, with the 1 mile walk and Fun Run for the 11 and under crowd staying within the town.
