Entry Fee: $20.00, please pre-register by May 5th, 2000.
Each participant will be provided with a T-Shirt, drinking water, juice, and other race favors. A cook-out will be provided at the end of the race. Emergency medical services available.
Race Start: Racing begins at 12:00 PM.
Directions: From I-79, Flatwoods exit. Take Rt. 15 to Webster Springs. From Beckley, Take Rt. 20 North to Webster Springs. At the traffic light in Webster Springs follow Rt. 15.
Course Info: 12 mile race will start in Bergoo. The 1st leg of the journey will take the riders toward a fairly steep and challenging mountain. After reaching the top, you begin the rugged trip down. You will cross the stream 3 times and pass a natural 17 foot scenic waterfall. The course is rough, but the scenery is beautiful. Riders finish back in Bergoo. The winners will be announced for the various divisions. Prizes and Drawings will be given out and delicious cook-out will be prepared for everyone participating in the race.
Divisions: Up to 18, 18-25, 26-31, 32-40, 41-49, 50 & over
Lodging: There are several camping areas near by such as Bergoo Campgrounds, Williams River, Gerald Freeman Campground and Holly River State Park. Several motels are available in Summersville (40 miles away.)
