Dream Run 2000
James Cramer finishes first
Dreams do come true. Helping to make some dreams come true this Saturday was a group of area runners participating in the Make a Wish Foundation of Southern West Virginia, Dream Run 2000 5K. The Make a Wish Foundation grants special wishes for Children between the ages of 2 and 18 who have been diagnosed with a life threatening illness. These wishes range from a trip to Disney Land where the child's favorite Disney Character tucks them in bed every night to meeting the cast of the popular TV series "ER". So even with the threat of a thunderstorm in the background, runners hit the paved, rolling, fast course at Kanawha State Forest to help make a child's every dream come true.

No special wishes were needed for James Cramer of Pennylsvinia. Leading from the beginning, James finished the course with a swift time of 15:55. He is a recent graduate of Marshall University in Sports Medicine and on his way to work in the big Apple, New York City.
