Girls just wanna have fun
Eighteen hardy souls showed up for the race. The rain gods
threatened, but held off until the end the last person finished the
run. The Race Director had sacrificed the goat prior to the run to
guarantee cloudy weather throughout the race. Unfortunately for the
Race Director, the downpour came just as he started out to pick up the
signs along the course and continued until he had completed his final
task.
Kevin O'Connor won the award for coming the greatest distance for the
race. Kevin was from Durango, Colorado and was in the area visiting
his parents. Congratulations Kevin.
