Having some September fun
This annual event is sponsored by the Kanawha Valley Chapter of the WV Credit Union League. Many area credit unions play a big part in making it a success.

All proceeds from entry fees and sponsors go to benefit the Southern WV Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which provides a "dream come true" for a local child with a life-threatening illness.

Awards: The first male & female walker to finish will also be recognized. Run awards will be presented to the first male and the first female overall finishers. Run awards will also be presented to the first 3 in each of the following age groups: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

T-Shirts for all participants on day of the event. Prize drawings after the race! There will be refreshments at the start/finish line.

Course: The start/finish line will be at the parking lot near the swimming pool. The course is on paved roads through Kanawha State Forest and is rolling but fast. Registration will be held at the shelter beside the parking lot.

Entrants must check in at the starting area between 8:00a.m. & 8:30a.m

Directions: Take Oakwood Road (Rt. 119 So.) exit off I-64. Turn right at exit light and go to second light, then turn left on Oakwood. Continue until you reach Louden Heights Road, go straight ahead. Take next right on Connell Road. At end of Connell Road, make left turn onto Davis Creek Road, which ends at Kanawha State Forest. WATCH FOR PARK SIGNS ALL THE WAY!
