This 5K running and walking race promotes fitness, cardiovascular health, confidence, discipline, self-esteem, and fun. It also benefits the Special Olympics of West Virginia, serving the needs of athletes of all ability levels. We encourage local businesses to participate in the corporate competition! Come enjoy the flat, fast course.

Proceeds: All funds go to help support Kanawha County Special Olympics and the WV Law Enforcement Torch Run Fund.

Start and Course // Run/Walk starts at 8:00 am - WVU Medical Building, 31st street & Virginia Ave Kanawha City, Charleston, WV // Race course turns at 47th street marked halfway point/water stop. Emergency personnel will be available on site.

• Registration Fee $40 To Participate in ALL Four Events
• Individual Registration will only take place on Race Day
• $15 Same Day Registration Runners and Walkers
• Race Day Registration starts at 7:00 AM
• Participants must have form filled out and pay fees before race starts
• ALL registered participants receive a T-shirt
• Refreshments provided after the race

RUN //(Male and Female) 14 & Under,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 and over

WALK // Top 3 male and female overall winners. Top 3 male and female masters winners, plus top 3 Law Enforcement finishers

SPECIAL // Trophy awarded to the individual or group with the highest amount of donation to Run with a Cop for Special Olympics
