Racers are encouraged to bring one canned good or non-perishable item with them to the race. Parking is available at the new city parking garage and Mid-City parking lot. There may be fees that apply. Free T-Shirts are only guaranteed to the first 100 pre-registrants only.
Race Day Registration and Start Time
Same day registration will be at the Union Mission, 7:45 to 8:30 am, Race starts at 9 am
The Course
The 3.1 mile course begins at the Union Mission located at 107 Jefferson Street in Fairmont, WV. You will proceed across the High-Level Bridge, cross the 3rd Street Bridge, then circle around the Rescue Squad towards Coal Run Hollow. From there, you will proceed up Coal Run Hollow all the way to 9th Street, cross Fairmont Avenue, and then follow the relatively downhill grade of Gaston Avenue to 4th Street, then circle below the Rescue Squad to the finish line below the Union Mission. There will be one water stop located approximately halfway through the race.

Proceeds
The proceeds of this event will benefit the Union Mission of Fairmont, WV in its effort to provide food, shelter, and clothing to the homeless in Marion County. The Union Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
