The proceeds of the race benefit Webark Estates, Inc., a local, non-profit, "no-kill" animal shelter located in Marshall County, Moundsville, WV.

The course is flat and fast and starts and ends at Reynolds Memorial Hospital. Bathrooms and parking provided on-site. Long-sleeve T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 200 registrants. There will be a post-race pizza part sponsored by Domino's Pizza, and there will be random drawings for door prizes.

About Webark

Webark Estates, Inc. is currently home to dogs, cats, rabbits, and rats. The Lacefields will provide lifetime care to any animal accepted into Webark Estates. Webark finds homes for pets in their care, but also has a "matchmaker" service that helps owners find homes for pets they are unable to keep.

Webark's feral cat program has prevented thousands of litters of unwanted kittens from being born, and hundreds of cats have been spayed or neutered, and vaccinated, thru the program.

The organization collects items year-round for the Auction and yard sales; please call if you are "spring cleaning" and pickup can be arranged. We use Patented Kuranda Dog Beds because they are durable, chew proof and easy to clean. We can always use more beds, because the cats like them too!

Volunteer for Webark in 2010 in association with Disney Park's "Give A Day Get A Day"! This year, Disney Parks is celebrating the good things people do for their communities. In 2010, Disney wants to inspire one million people to volunteer a day of service to a participating organization in their community, and will celebrate their good works by giving each of them a one day admission to a theme park at Disneyland® Resort or Walt Disney World® Resort, free!
