Great event for beginners to solo riders and great warm up for the Big Bear 2x12!
The New River Bicycle Union presents the first 6 Hours of Arrowhead which will be held in 2013. The location will be the New River Gorge bicycle trail system and specifically on the 12.8 mile Arrowhead Trail (map).
Course: Roughly a 10 mile loop with 90% groomed single track.
Format: Relay style event with placement determined by number of Laps completed in 6 hour time limit. Last lap must be started by 5:59pm.
Classes:
- Solo male open
- Solo female open
- 2 person male open
- 2 person female open
- 2 person coed open
- 3 person coed just for fun class
Additional Details: Start time is 12:00pm. Race packets must be picked up no later than 11am on race day. Racer meeting at 11:30am.
