Come on out for the 2013 Valley Falls Challenge August 18, 2013.
Race starts: at noon, kids race is at 11:00.
Course description: We have a little retro with a little new this year. We are running the course in old school direction but we are adding more than a mile of new single track. The course is 7 mile laps, beginners will do 1, sport will be doing 2, and experts will be doing 3.
Schwag: First 100 folks get free t-shirts and everyone gets a grab bags from Stans NoTubes contaning Stans tire sealant. Pre race will be Starbucks Coffee and pre race goodies, bananas, muffins etc.... Post race will be Papa Johns Pizza with Pepsi products, and chips. Also performing will be the Allied Bros. barking out Jonny, Cash, and Jennings. You don't want to miss this one!
We are also having name that trail game: We have a new trail at Valley Falls with out a name. We are asking you to help us name this trail. If your Trail Name is selected, your race fee will be handed back to you!!! Sponsored by Pike Street Bikes.
Where: So come on out and enjoy the day at beautiful Valley Falls State Park in Fairmont, WV. Just 15 min from I-79, Exit 137 and head toward Grafton.
Lodging: Valley Falls does not offer over night accommodations, but the are plenty of Hotels and Motels off of the Pleasant Valley and White Hall exits.
