Tom Hopper 5K Run/Walk
This race is being done in the memory of Tom Hopper. For those of you who did not know Tom, he was an avid morning runner and a long time soccer coach in the Kanawha Valley. Through the course of his life, Tom positively impacted the lives of hundreds of players, coaches, parents, volunteers, and others. As Tom would appreciate, all proceeds of this race will be donated to the Kanawha-Charleston Soccer Foundation. The race is not only designed as a means to raise money for this charitable group, but is also a way to bring together those of us who knew Tom during his great life. Assuming we have a well received turn-out, our intention is to make this race an annual event.
