- Race will begin at Fairmont Federal Credit Union on the Connector and end at Palatine Park. Registration begins at 6:30 pm at Palatine Park and the race begins at 7:30 pm.

Propelled by the success of previous races, this years NightGLOW will feature the same fun and colorful theme, but with a new course that will take the runners through more of the historic downtown Fairmont district.
NightGLOW started as part of the unveiling celebration for the Gateway Connector. It will continue as an opportunity to raise awareness about the downtown historic city center, promote foot traffic and exposure to the district, and raise funds for continued revitalization efforts. In addition to putting downtown Fairmont on everyones radar for the months leading up to the event, it promotes community health and wellness.
This event was last held in 2018 and we believe it will be just as successful this year. We had over 150 participants last year, many of which were visitors from outside our state. We offer a unique experience. A professionally timed 5K race with the fun of running while glowing in the dark. It really is the best of both worlds!
