Entry Fee: $40.00 and the field is LIMITED TO 80 RUNNERS!

• This is a low key event to insure runners wishing to run all 50 states and DC get a last chance opportunity to run at least a marathon in West Virginia
• (The running of the Almost Heaven Marathon has been CANCELLED!) Completion certificates will be available upon request.
• DISTINCTIVE SHIRTS TO ALL REGISTERED RUNNERS AND SIMPLE FINISHING AWARDS!
• Post-race meal may be provided on interest and sponsorship. Will possibly be a covered dish type of dinner.
• AID PROVIDED TO ALL RUNNERS AND GEAR DROP POINTS AVAILABLE.
• Support crew should not be needed, BUT there are many access points, if desired for support or watch the runner's progress.
• Aid station distance will be marked and runner tracking in place. Aid Stations will be stocked with a variety of goods and drinks.
• Underage runners must have a parent or guardian present on race day to participate in this event!
• ALL RUNNERS MUST CHECK-IN PRIOR TO THE START OF THE RACE.

Course: Two loop course on trails and dirt roads with some gravel and paved areas. Course is CHALLENGING (but well marked and accessible turns will verified race day). ALL trails and roads are in Kanawha State Forest, beautiful mountain terrain course. (Final course is same as last year but it is not the same as RTR 50K due to trail conditions, the most difficult sections of the Rattlesnake course will NOT be included.)

Time Limit: 9 HOURS! and you will be stopped after 5 HOURS for first loop at the race directors discretion.

Weather: COLD, WET, WARM, DRY, ICY, SNOWY, FRIGID!
The worse the better and who knows at that time of year. We hope it snows some before the race and then have a clear sky day.

Facilities:Ample parking available at the start/finish area. Camping at KSF is NOT available. Local accommodations are available in the Charleston area approximately 10 miles from the race location.

Race Packets: Limited pre-race briefing and packet pick-up will be held prior to race on Saturday morning, December 16th at approximately 5:30 to 6:30 AM. (Location will be at Kanawha State Forest start/finish area)

Results: Will be distributed preferably by e-mail and published web sites along with mailed copies. Your e-mail address will only be used for results and information from our race group.
