About Tad Fitzsimmons: This run is to help support the Tad Fitzsimmons Scholarship Fund. Tad lost his life in a car accident on June 24, 1999. He had a love of God, family, friends and community that has left a lasting impression on those who knew him. He was a 1997 graduate of Magnolia High School. He was an active member and deacon of the First Christian Church and worked at Giant Eagle. At the time of his death he was a junior at Fairmont State College majoring in elementary education with an emphasis in Specific Learning Disabilities. He was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Education Honorary.

$12.00 before July 1st and $15.00 after

Fun Run: Kids run for ages 6 and under free of charge

Course: Begins and ends at Bruce Park2

T-shirts: Free to All registered runners. Guests may purchase.

Door Prizes: Random drawings during the dinner.

Dinner: Spaghetti Dinner free to all runners. Guests may attend at the cost of $5.00.

Awards: Awards will be given to the first and second places in each division, both male and female for the run. The top ten male and female walkers will receive awards. Awards will also be given to top overall male and female finishers.

Age Divisions:
14 years and under, 15-19 years old, 20-29 years old, 30-39 years old, 40-49 years old, 50-59 years old, 60 years and over

Note: Restrooms and showers are available.

All proceeds go to the Tad Fitzsimmons Scholarship Fund.
