NEW FOR 2002!

Look for the following changes that are in the planning stages for 2002:

• The "Triple Crown." The Greater Clarksburg 10k is teaming up with the Great Race from Pittsburgh and the Cleveland 10k to add more excitement to each race. Runners who participate in all three races will be eligible for cash prizes and other awards.

• A "Spirit Award" The idea behind this is that any organized group being placed strategically throughout the course showing their "Spirit" for the sport of running and the participants will be rewarded.

• This year will be the inaugural year for the "2-miler." A warm-up race before the main event will take place at 7:30am. Be watching for more details in the final race application that is expected to be out in mid-March 2002.
