• 12:00 NOON - WVMBA Point Series Race begins
• Awards ceremony will follow the race end

• WVMBA MTB Race - $25 members, $30 non-members

Location: Mountwood Park is located approximately 12 miles east of Parkersburg, WV (and I-77), on US Route 50 at Volcano Road. The entrance is on your right.

About Mountwood Park's Trails: A combination of tight, technical single-track and wider ORV trails, Mountwood's trails offer something for everyone. Although most maps still list several trails as ORV trails, Mountwood has recently banned the use of motorized vehicles on the trails so mountain bikers pretty much have free reign of the trails. Mountwood is 2600 acres of rolling woodlands with excellent running, hiking and mountain bike trails. The area of Volcano and Burning Springs has a rich history oil production dating back to 1860. West Virginia's first oil pipeline was constructed here in 1879. Not much remains of the Volcano oil field, but if you keep your eyes open you will see remnants of the old industry including many wooden stave tanks.
