All-Girl Raft Team at Pillow

Update! We WILL have race day registration at the tailwaters area as always, from 8:30 until 10:30. Online registration is still available, and you can pre-register up until midnight on Friday the 22nd. Weather and water outlooks are all great! Remember we will have a shuttle available for spectators (Thanks AW!) that will run from the tailwater to Sweet's Falls. It will include the BBQ Ribs and Chicken lunch with all the fixins' and the best seats in the house for the race! Seats are limited, and you need to reserve with us here, email Donnie@gauleyrace.com to reserve seats, the cost is $20. AW is also offering a deal for folks that want to raft the upper and watch the race from Sweet's, use the same contact for more info about that.

We have the shirts already- they look cool. The band is locked in, Budwieser is locked in, and prizes are coming in every day. All we need now is you to come on out. Challenge your friends, get a team together, forward this message. The more the merrier!

Since 1992 the ANIMAL Upper Gauley Race, now in it's 14th year, has become one of the premier Extreme Events in the country; a downriver sprint on a legendary section of river. It is the Whitewater Competition on which the entire nation of kayakers, rafters and paddlers of all sorts focus. Come out and race on the Gauley, see the river from a different perspective, challenge yourself! Racers get shirts, great food, big party, prizes, and...enjoy the Gauley FEST!!
