About Parents' Place: All proceeds from the race go to helping Parents' Place maintain its quality preschool program. For more than 25 years, Parents' Place has provided a unique parent-run, non-denominational program open to all parents and their preschool children. We provide parents with a place to socialize while their children attend preschool classes. Children from ages 1 to 5 attend classes taught by experienced and qualified teachers while infants stay with their mother or father in the parents' room.

The teachers at Parents' Place encourage independence and creativity through stimulating physical and cognitive development activities: reading, music, crafts, and play time. While children attend classes, parents enjoy the opportunity to share parenting experiences and learn from notable speakers on topics ranging from nutrition and finance to local charities and children's activities.
