For the 10K RUN... Plaques will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place male and female runners in each age group.
For the 5K WALK... Plaques will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd overall male and female walkers.
AGE GROUPS FOR RUNNERS: 14-Under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-Over
COURSE: Level to rolling. Start/Finish at Huntington Bank. Middle 4 miles over beautiful rolling country road.

CEREMONY: Enjoy the Post-Race Party and Awards Ceremony, refreshments provided.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL: This is the 72nd year for the Mountain State Forest Festival in Elkins, WV. The festival celebrats the forest heritage and traditions of the early settlers to the region, the Mountain State Forest Festival is one of West Virginia's oldest and largest. Drawing nearly 100,000 people each year to the Heart of West Virginia. A week-long slate of festivities features three parades, a Country Music Show, Classic Rock Show, a Cabaret, a carnival in downtown streets, arts and crafts, quilts and weaving, Lumberjack contest, queen's coronation and more.
