Alderson-Broaddus PA 5K Run/Walk
The course will give you a chance to see all the beauty of the Alderson-Broaddus campus, and there will be chances for prizes (just for participating) and race awards (overall and age groups.) Race photos will be provided.

Registration Fee: $12 (if received by October 3, 2008), $15 thereafter and race day
Shirts: T-shirts will be guaranteed (but not limited) to the first 50 participants.
Times: Race starts at 2:00 pm
Scenic Course: The race will be on campus. The A-B campus occupies a rolling hilltop overlooking the Tygart Valley River and the community of Philippi with its county courthouse, church spires and the historic Philippi Covered Bridge used by both Confederate and Union troops during the first land battle of the Civil War.
"The oldest extant building on the campus, Whitescarver Hall (circa 1911), was named for George M. Whitescarver of Pruntytown, WV. The Classical Revival building was designed by the architectural firm of Holmboe and Lafferty and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990." says Wikipedia.
To Benefit: All proceeds will help Alderson-Broaddus physician assistant students represent the school at the 2008 West Virginia Association of Physician Assistants (WVAPA) conference and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) national conference.
The state WVAPA conference will be held in Snowshoe, WV and the national AAPA conference will be held in San Diego, CA.
