Four years strong and Morgantown Area Grand Prix's second event of the series, the Ambulance Chase route is the same as the Backbay Snowflake 5K path. Folks race down and around the paved roads of Suncrest. Ending with a summer-style BBQ that is hard to beat, this 5K finishes by Krepps Park.

Shirtless and sockless, 16 year old Brandon Miles flew by the reporter's cameras to finish first in 17:13. Bringing his own heat to the line, Ed Filcheck (17:33), captured second place. Fourth overall in We Run, We Walk, For Webark 5K, Darin Jacoby (18:19) crossed the line a respectable third.
The Ladies Race
In the women's division, Melinda Berryman (20:02) high stepped through the heat to claim first. Exactly one minute behind Berryman, Amanda Maxwell (21:02), crossed the line for second, while Nora Rye (21:55), held her own pace for third.
The WVU College of Law Student Bar Association donates all of the race proceeds to the West Virginia Senior Legal Aid. Senior Legal Aid provides free civil legal services to economically and socially needy West Virginians over age 60. Last year's race resulted in a donation of over $6000, and this year's race is sure to bring in even more. Thanks to everyone for their support and participation.
