This is the FIRST RACE of the 2010 Appalachian Cyclocross Series (APCXS) presented by the Appalachian Bicycle Racing Association (ABRA). For more series information go to www.abraracing.com.
To qualify for the Series Championship (Bruceton Mills Cyclocross, APCXS # 8) you must compete in 4 out of the 7 events. Total points will be determined by your best 5 races. Points to be given by finishing order at each event.

USAC Information
USA Cycling Permit # 2010-2703
A USAC Annual License is required for all riders except Men's Cat-4 and Woman's Cat-4. An annual license can be purchased on the day of the race. One-day licenses can be purchased at the event for $10.
Rules
All USCA rules apply. Riders must wear helmets at all times. Mountain bikes permitted with handlebar ends removed per USAC rules. Riders under 18 need a signed parental consent form.
Claiming Prizes
Prizes will be distributed at the staging area within 1 hour of race results being posted. All prizes not claimed at the race are forfeit.

Tandem, Men's Cat 1/2/3, Men's Cat 3/4, Men's Cat 4,
Women Cat 1/2/3, Women Cat 4, Single Speed Open,
Men's Masters (40 +), Juniors Under 19

Sag support will be provided. No refunds starting two weeks before event date. Results will be sent to USACycling.org.
2010 APCXR Series Rules
- Mountain Bikes are welcome to race, just NO bar ends.
- To qualify for series championship you must compete in 4 of the 7 events
- Total points will be determined by your best 5 races.
- Points to be given by finishing order at each event.
- Racers finishing outside of the top 25 will be given 0 point for finishing.
- In case of ties, the racer with the most 1st places, 2nd places or 3rd places, etc. will win. In the case that the tie remains, additional next best scores from the final APCXS race is the break the tie.
- No points will be given for DNS or DNF.
- To race in the APCXS you must hold a USAC License or purchase a one day license at each event.
- All APCXS Point Series events must include all of the standard APCXS Classes regardless of field size. Classes may not be combined.
- APCXS follows guidelines set for by USAC rule book.
