The 29th annual Revenge of the Rattlesnake Race is possibly one of the longest running mountain events around. Food and beverage provided post-race for the awards ceremony (immediately after race) behind Blackwater Bikes shop in downtown Davis.

The ever changing course promises 35-40 miles of scenic but technical and sometimes grinding single-track all over Canaan mountain and beyond complete with aid stations and cut-off point to beat. Come test your endurance and will-power and enjoy the mountain in all it's fall color glory! awards.

The race first began in 1983, and became part of the Canaan Mountain Series back in 1984 and has been a series race ever since, as well as a popular attraction to riders from surrounding states as well as a few locals. Some locals who ride the trails all the time or have participated in the race, don't want any part of this race because they know what is in store!
