Miles for Mission
Nick Whited running to victory
The Annual "Miles for Mission 5K" once again had people running the streets of Gary on Saturday. The 5K race takes place during the Fall Festival, which also boasts a golf tournament, and lot's of local crafts.

With a kids fun run and a chicken dinner available afterwards, it was the perfect way to spend a cool, sunny morning in southern West Virginia. Fall-like conditions prevailed as 19 runners of all ages lined up in front of the mission clubhouse for the start.

Medals were handed out to the top three finishers in each division, and some quality plaques were handed out to the overall winners.
