The Black Bear 40K is designated as a WVMBA point series race. It is a technically demanding, single loop course following a series of single tracks through Kanawha State Forest. This race is open to all levels of riders.
- When: Sunday~ July 16th, 2000
- Pre-registration:call Doug Atkins at 304-346-0318 (9am-5pm)
- Day of race registration: Begins at 10:00 AM
- Race Start: at 12 NOON
- Cost: $25.00 for WVMBA Members, $30.00 for Non-Members
- Camping: Call Kanawha State Forest @ (304) 558-3500
Directions to Kanawha State Forest:
- Exit I-64 Oakwood Road
- Turn right onto Route 119
- Turn left on Oakwood at second stoplight
- Follow Brown signs to Kanawha State Forest
