About ADELPHOI USA: www.adelphoivillage.org
Giving young people opportunities to make a fresh start is what Adelphoi is all about. Founded in 1972 by a young Benedictine Monk, Adelphoi has grown from a single group home in Latrobe, Pennsylvania to a non-sectarian, non-profit agency offering comprehensive community-based treatment throughout Pennsylvania. Widely acclaimed for excellence, Adelphoi has been named on of the top five programs in the country by the National Governor's Association. As a recognized leader in child care, our innovative treatment programs have become a model to other agencies. In 1998 and 2001 Adelphoi received a Behavioral Health Care Accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and opened the first charter school in Westmoreland County. Proceeds From the Race Proceeds from this event will benefit the Vito and Marie Morlino Spirituality Fund. This fund gives Adelphoi youth the opportunity to take part in activities to learn about and increase spiritual awareness. Also, a portion of the proceeds from this year's event will benefit Macy Kanto, a 4-year old girl from Derry, who is undergoing Cancer treatment.

Welcome Latrobe Rotary... Adelphoi is pleased that the Latrobe Rotary is joining us this year as co-sponor of our event. The Latrobe Rotary Club contributes to our community in so many ways and we are honored to have them join us in out fundraiser.
