Out of the saddle with the finish in sight

The old adage that misery loves company was confirmed at the 6th annual Mountains of Misery challenge century. A record crowd of over 400 riders rolled out onto North Franklin Street in Christiansburg bright and early on a nice and cool Sunday morning. It isn't billed as a race, but there certainly are bragging rights at stake for those who survive the final five-mile Cat. 1 climb to the Mountain Lake Resort finish line.
