Great course, great fun in northern WV
Name Change: The Hancock 100 is formerly the Tour De Tomlinson!

About the Location: Tomlinson Run State Park, at the top of the northern West Virginia panhandle, is not home to the gnarly technical trails like those of Canaan Valley or Cooper's Rock. Instead, it is just a rip-roaring spin through winding singletrack that keeps racers at a constant full-throttle. The two most common adjectives that the competitors used to describe the course were fast and fun!

Details: Experts race for 100 minutes, sport classes for 75 minutes, and beginners for 60 minutes. We'll count laps and times. Prizes will be plaques and money awarded as soon as possible when the winners come across the finish line. Not much fanfare, just a good time! Racers should have fun, race hard, and go home to enjoy Mothers Day with dear ol' mom.

Breakfast and lunch will be available for a few bucks. The event is sponsored by the Tomlinson Run Park Foundation. Camping and hotel accommodations are also available. The money raised from this race will be used for trail improvements in the park.

  • The race will begin at 11:00 am
  • Registration starts at 8:30 am
  • Pre race meeting at 10:30 am

How to Get there: Located in the northern panhandle 19 miles north of Weirton on WV Rt. 2, Tomlinson Run State Park is easily accessible by taking WV 8, north, where it intersects with WV 2 at New Cumberland, and following signs to the park which is just north of New Manchester, WV.
