The Deckers Creek Adventure Race is a 3-hour, sprint distance adventure race designed to challenge beginner and more experienced racers alike. The race will include activities such as cycling, foot travel, canoeing, rock climbing, and many mystery challenges that will challenge both your body and your mind.

Teams of 3 will navigate a challenging course around Morgantown. Groups will have 3 hours to complete as many tasks as possible to earn points. The team with the most points wins!

Race Overview:

Due to the open course design (*participants will choose their route and race strategy) accurate distances for the race can not be stated. However, it is predicted that an advanced team who manages to complete all of the challenges and legs of the race will cover approximately 12 miles of cycling, 4-5 miles of foot travel, and 1 mile of canoeing while a beginner team may only cover half that distance.

This event will be great for first time and young racers due to the freedom to complete the race as you see best based on your team's abilities and goals. Advanced racers will also be challenged as strategy comes into play with the course's many events, all of which may not be possible to accomplish within the 3-hour time limit.

Following the event, plan to stick around as the fun continues with a free festival with food, beverages, live music, activities for children, and much more from noon to 4:00pm!
