About:
The health of our community is plagued by obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol. Many people say they would eat better if healthy food (vegetables and fruits, for example) were more affordable. People also say they would exercise more if they had access to places where they could exercise.
It is because of these statements that a group of us, led by a partnership between the Clendenin Women's Club and the Clendenin Health Center, are working together to figure out what people in Clendenin want, so that we can concentrate our efforts and funding toward making those things happen.
