Symphony Sunday Weekend: Race on Saturday and on Sunday enjoy a full day of family fun, food, and music on the beautiful riverbank lawn at the University of Charleston. The Sunday culminates in a free concert followed by fireworks. Sunday, June 3, 2007 with performers: The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra - Grant Cooper, conductor, and other performers throughout the day.

Race Details: Entry fee is $15.00 pre-registration by May 18, 2007, $20.00 after May 18, 2007. Only pre-registered participants are guaranteed a T-shirt. Register on race starting at 8:00 am. Race starts at 9:00 am.

Course: The flat course starts and ends on Kanawha Avenue beside the University of Charleston/Riggleman Hall and through Kanawha City. Are you up to the Challenge? This event will pit your best 5K time against Beethoven's legendary Symphony No. 5. Timed at 30.55 minutes long, seasoned runners may find the Beethoven challenge a bit of a breeze, but then again this legendary masterpiece never grows tired. Good Luck!
