Davis Health Systems Mini Triathlon (iPO Event Id#: 10731)

Enjoy this Mini-Tri which offers a 400-yard indoor pool swim, 12-mile road bike, and a 3.1-mile cross country course. The run is on a well-worn trail where multiple state cross country events are held. [ See course maps ]

Fee: $10.00 extra for each participant for the one day USA Triathlon Membership.

• $40.00 - Individual classes Clydesdale, Athena, Divided by Age
• $25.00 per team member ($75.00 total-3 team members) - Team Classes Unafiliated, Corporate, Church, and Family

• Friday Night Registration will be held at Davis & Elkins (D&E) College, June 20, 2008 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Call (304) 636-9450 or 1(800) 427-2408 for more details.

• On-site Same day Registration held at D&E College on June 21, 2008 from 7:00 am to 7:45 am. Race starts at 8:00 am!

Prizes: Awards will be given to the overall winner as well as first, second, and third place in each age category.

To Benefit: Youth Health Service, Inc. is a private, non-profit agency dedicated to helping families raise healthy children. YHS offices are located in Elkins, Mill Creek, Belington, and Philippi, WV. An array of behavioral health, preventive health, social services, and educational child care services are offered to families.

Directions: From I-95 S via EXIT 99 toward Buckhannon. (31.90 miles) WV-92 S ramp toward Crystal Springs/Old US-33. Stay straight to go onto Old US-33/WV-92. Continue to follow WV-92. (4.36 miles) Go through three red lights. After third watch for Iron Horse on your left. Turn left. Second road on left take another left and immediate right and go up to the top of the hill. At the top is where the triathalon will be.
