ENTRY FEE: Race fee is $15.00 for registrations postmarked by November 29, 2008. Fee for registrations postmarked after November 29, 2008 and on race day will be $20.00. Fees are not refundable. If event is canceled because of inclement weather, thank you for your donation to Stepping Stones.

WHEN: Sunday, Dec. 7th the 5K Race begins at 2:00 p.m. Race Day registration starts at 12 Noon and ends at 1:45 p.m.

WHERE: The start and finish for both events are located at Krepps Park on Patteson Drive (across from WVU Coliseum) in Morgantown, WV.

BENEFITS: Proceeds will be forwarded to SteppingStones. Race day donations to the fund are welcome.

FLURRY FUN RUN FOR KIDS: The Flurry Fun Run for kids aged 10 & under will be held adjacent to Krepps Park at 1:45 p.m. Parents must register their child and sign the liability waiver on the application blank in this brochure. All finishers will receive an award. There is a kid's registration fee of $5.00 for which pre-registered participants will receive a child's-sized T-Shirt.

FOOD & REFRESHMENTS: Hot & cold food & refreshments will be served to 5K participants courtesy of the Back Bay Seafood Restaurant. Friends & family members are invited to attend the post-race meal for a $5.00 per person donation (proceeds go to the SteppingStones).

AWARDS:

• 5K RACE - Top three overall Male & Female finishers. Top three Male & Female finishers in each of the following age groups:

   14 & Under   25-29        40-44        55-59
   15-19        30-34        45-49        60-64
   20-24        35-39        50-54        65 & Over

• 5K WALK - Top five overall Male & Female finishers. Note that this is a fun walk the course will NOT be monitored for compliance with official race walking rules.

MORGANTOWN AREA GRAND PRIX: This year's Snowflake Sprint 5K Run is the 11th and final race of the 2008 Morgantown Area Grand Prix Sprint Series. Winners will be announced at an awards presentation on Saturday, December 13th.

FINISH/RESULTS: Computerized timing and scoring will be provided by WV Track Club. Results will be posted in Krepps Park following the race.

T-SHIRTS: All 5K pre-registrants will receive a long-sleeve T-Shirt. Availability of T-Shirts for race day registrants is not guaranteed.

COURSE: A rolling 3.1 mile loop through the Suncrest area of Morgantown. The race is sanctioned by the Road Runners Club of America. No Bicycles, strollers, roller skates/blades, pets or non-registered runners will be permitted on the course. Traffic control will be provided by the Morgantown Police Department.
