The first 200 registrants are guaranteed a T-shirt.The race fee is $18 for the general public and $15 for employees of WVU Healthcare and WVU Health Sciences if postmarked by Friday, Sept. 9. The discount does not apply to employees' family members. After this date and on race day, the cost is $20 for the general public and employees.

- 7:30-8:45 am = Race Day Registration
- 9:00 am = Start of the 5K Run and the 5K Walk
- 10:00 am = Kids' Race
- awards are presented after the end of the kid races

Course
View the course map on USATF.org. The 5K course is a rolling, two-loop course with one water stop and mile split times.

There will be arts and crafts throughout the morning, as well as kids' races starting at 10 a.m.
The kids' races are FREE, but kids must be at least one year old to participate. Parents must register their children on race morning.
There will be 3 kids' races, 2 short distance races for younger kids and a 1K for the older kids.
AWARDS
- RUN OVERALLS (5K) - The top three male and female finishers will receive cash prizes.
First place, $150 - Second place, $100 - Third place, $50 - Bonus, $100 prize for setting a new men's or women's course record. The current men's record is 15:11; women's, 16:34.
- RUN AGE GROUPS (5K) - Prizes also will be awarded to age group winners. Age group categories include: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 plus.
- RUN HEAVYWEIGHT (5K) - Prizes will also be awarded to the top three males in the heavyweight category (weight must be more than 200lbs; weigh in at registration).
- RUN EMPLOYEES (5K) - The top three male and female finishers in the 5K run who work for WVU Healthcare or WVU Health Sciences will receive prizes.
- WALK (5K) - The top three male and female finishers will receive prizes. This is not an officially judged race walk; however, no running is allowed.
- PRIZE DRAWINGS - Registered runners and walkers of the 5K have the opportunity to win a variety of prizes at the end of the races. Participants must be present to win.
- NO DUPLICATIONS - There will be no duplication of prizes/awards. Unclaimed prize money will be donated to the Rosenbaum Memorial Fund. Prizes/awards will only be awarded to those who are registered.
General
To ensure your safety, no dogs, baby strollers or headphones are allowed. This is in accordance with Road Runner Club of America guidelines. WVU students can earn two hours of volunteer credit by participating in the race.
To Benefit // The Richard Rosenbaum Memorial Fund
The September Stride benefits the Richard Rosenbaum Memorial Fund, which provides medication and equipment to children with cystic fibrosis and other pulmonary problems. Richard "Rick" Rosenbaum, who was treated for cystic fibrosis at WVU since birth, died at age 36 in 1995. He was a dedicated advocate for children's programs associated with the hospital. Rick was a local businessman and good friend to many of the organizers of this event. His family is responsible for creating the fund. If you'd like to make an additional donation to the Richard Rosenbaum Memorial Fund, please include your contribution with your entry fee.

The Morgantown Area Grand Prix (MAGP) is open to runners only, but walkers can participate in listed races. The series helps local charitable and community service organizations and causes.
