Proceeds from the2008 Albert Gallatin 5K benefit Ken Frankenberry ( Ken is a Point Marion resident and long time member of the WV Track Club, who is afflicted with Lou Geherig’s Disease) and Friends of The Park benefiting The Point Marion Community Park.

Registration, awards and post race refreshments in pavilion near entrance to park.

Details

• Race on Sunday May 25, 2008 regardless of weather
• 5K Run and the Walk start 5:00 PM, Walk
• Race day registration is from 4:00 PM- 4:45 PM
• Location is Point Marion Community Park, in Point Marion, PA
• Shirts guaranteed to all registrations postmarked on or before May 12,2008
• No Guarantee of T-shirts for late and race day registrants

Course: Paved, scenic out and back, mostly flat with one short incline, along the Monongahela River.

Results: Timing and finish line results provided by the Morgantown Roadrunners and available online at iPlayOutside.com.

Awards:

RUN // Top three overall Male & Female. Top three male & Female finishers in the following age groups- 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.

WALK // Top three overall male & female. Top two male & female finishers in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over. Walkers must abide by sanctioned race walking rules. * Course will be monitored for compliance!
