The Yee-Ha! is part of the Gravity East Series. In 2009, the series event was a huge success, with 244 riders from 23 states being represented. Racers came to Virginia from as far away as California and Canada to race on the famed Massanutten 1997 UCI World Cup Course.

This course features all elements of East Coast gravity terrain including rock gardens, drops, mud and roots, a challenge for all racers of every level.

The Gravity East Series (GES) is a USA Cycling Sanctioned series, all age and Class Categories are included. In 2010, the Gravity East Downhill Series boasts of 10 races at 10 incredible venues. Count your best 8 of 10 races toward 5 Race Minimum to qualify for the $5,000 Series Purse.

Trail Changes

Massanutten has added a rock bridge to cover the spring blowout from last year. Also, a mini hoe for 12" drainage pipes has been installed in the infamous Barrel Turns. The course has new lines in the turns and few rocks picked for better flow. A few trees & stumps have been removed from turns for faster exits. This is the most trail work since 1997 World Cup! Come enjoy the ride!
