This is the 12th year for Auggie's! It benefits the Ohio County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OCSPCA). Your pets are welcome here, you may race with them, please have them leashed.

- Out-and-Back flat course on Wheeling's Heritage Trail along the Ohio River
- Post-Race Party with Domino's Pizza, Door Prizes, etc.

Auggie was a beautiful black cat who was Tom Rownd's (race director) faithful companion for seven years. Auggie's early departure from this world inspired Tom to establish this race in 1999 as a fundraiser for the Ohio County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and to remember him by.
